" It's a beatle's song, sweetie... If I'd been out till quarter to three Would you lock the door, Will you still need me, will you still feed me, When I'm sixty-four. You'll be older too, And if you say the word, I could stay with you." "I could be handy, mending a fuse (you know this is so true!) When your lights have gone. You c...

"As the Arabs see the Jews" - in an American Mag 1947 Share Friday, January 16, 2009 at 1:57pm In the grimm events of the still-going Palestenian war, my inbox of late has been bombarded by all kinds of writings and group fwds from fellow friends, family and acquantainces from corners of the globe; all basically highlighting the cruelty and suffering of the civillians involved and how each of us should somehow try in any way possible to protest this intolerable violence towards humanity. Be it by words or actions, these passed-on messages are taking quite a life of its own, both to my delight & dismay. Considering the wide-ranged backgrounds of these people that I know, it never fails to amaze me how much each individual feels affected to these events, albeit slightly for different reasons. Sometimes I wonder if these voices are about anger of the war and its inflictions, or is it all just for the sake of having an opinion against something controversial? Wh...
